Wednesday Part 1 - The Eyes of Nanchang

I am going to post the first half of Wednesday now and will do the rest later today.

Baba here. That means daddy. When we were in Beijing at the Jade factory, we learned that Magnus was born in the year of the snake. Don't worry, that is a very good thing to the Chinese people. The snake is just below the dragon in terms of power and strength. After Wednesday though, I would have thought he was a turtle because he came out of his shell. Ok, that was kind of a long way to go for a weak pun, but point made.  When Wednesday started we still weren't sure if he walked much. We got him to stand and take a few steps on previous days, but Wednesday this little boy walked around the majority of the day. He is quite the thinker and very purposeful player. He is very careful about how he puts his cars in his stacking cups or my instant coffee packets back into the box.

The day started, however, with fireworks. Not figuratively, literally. I woke up at 630 to this out my window.

We had some breakfast. Eliza wanted to use chopsticks.

After breakfast we met our guide and went to the largest Ferris wheel in China along the banks of the Gan river.
This is called the Eyes of Nanchang. Unfortunately this "partly sunny" day doesn't meet my definition of a sunny day. Poor Magnus woke up very early this morning and was exhausted. He fell asleep in the car on the way to the wheel.  Momma decided to stay in the van with him while I took the girls up in the wheel.

After we came down they had these crazy little car things that we drove.

Then, Mr. Magnus woke up and joined us.

More about Wednesday to come later.
