Shuangbaotai??

For those of you that followed our blog last year, you may remember that the one Mandarin word that we learned because we said it over and over about Eliza and Juliette was "Shuangbaotai"; which translates into twins.  Twice today we were asked if Magnus and Apollo were twins.  What do you think?

All in all, it was a really great day for Apollo. We are really starting to see the sweet little boy come out. He has a great laugh and a huge smile. He is great at sharing with Magnus and has really starting seeking our comfort and affection.

He also started his first desk job today!

The poor thing had to go through the mandatory medical examination this morning though. At the exam he had to move from doctor to doctor as they poke, prod, and even stuck him for a TB test.  He handled it like a champ with no tears, but he did want Mommy to keep her hand on his band-aid from the moment he came out of the test room all the way until we got back to the hotel.

After we arrived back at the hotel, it was time to venture out to the Chinese Walmart to pick up a few supplies. Both boys wanted Mommy to carry them, so how did she decide??

Food shopping in China is always a test of your intestinal fortitude.

So this is where all chicken feet end up!

This is literally called stink fruit!

Ok, this one doesn't look so bad, but a little bit too life-like if you ask me. They look like they would start dancing if some music started playing.

Magnus took a long nap, so we got a chance to spend some one on one time with Apollo. It was really great!

For dinner, we headed over to a local pizza place called Oggi's.  This will be a place that Dana will likely always remember because this is where she had her first kiss!

We are really starting to gel as a family. Apollo loves to sing, so we sang Itsy Bitsy spider and Bingo all the way back to the hotel.

 Life is good!
