Last Day in Nanchang

It is Thursday evening and we are all packed up and ready for our 3 hour bullet-train ride to Guangzhou tomorrow. We are very excited to be entering the last leg of our journey. However, we can't lose sight of the fact that this is just the first step for little Apollo. He has a long road ahead of him.  I'm sure from the silly stories and smiling pictures on this blog, it would seem Apollo is doing great.  While he is handling this transition like a champ, we are reminded each time we flip on his oxygen, or watch him sit down to catch his breath that he is very sick.  Please keep praying for his continued stable health until we can get him home for a full evaluation.

Overall, today was pretty low-key. Magnus did greet the city this morning in a peculiar manner.

The weather was (supposed) to be bad so we didn't plan on being outside much. Turns out it didn't rain until about 6:00.  We were supposed to go to the museum of the Communist Revolution (The revolution actually began in the city of Nanchang in 1927), but it was under construction. Our guide was quite displeased. Plan B was to walk down a shopping street and look for "trinkets" as Dana kept referring to them. We found some trinkets and the boys got a little special fruit drink.

After the shopping it was a pretty simple day. The boys played in the hotel play area and we packed up our things.

Magnus had a bit of a mishap while trying to undress. We love his um, large head, but it often gets stuck! He was already throwing a tantrum so he decided to sit there like this for at least 3 minutes!

A quick dinner, some ice cream, and a bath then off to bed they went!
