Going to the River and What did they say about the light show?

Another beautiful day here in Nanchang.

The boys enjoyed their breakfast before we hit the streets for another morning walk.

This morning, we decided that we should just go ahead and walk out into the middle of the river.

Poor Magnus was not happy about it the whole time. He kept asking to go home. :( We eventually hit a part of the rock wall that had washed out and had to turn around.   The boys then did a bit of playing and running around on Fun Street. You would never guess that these two brothers just met each other a couple days ago.

After our morning walk, it was time for Youyongchi. That's right, time to hit the swimming pool! Apollo was very excited to get changed into his swimming trunks and take a dip in the pool.

Magnus on the other hand...

Afterwards, back to the room for some lunch and relaxation.

After nap time we met our guide to head over to the People's Park.  It is a huge municipal park in the middle of the city with a lake, walking trails, flowers, etc.  There was truly a little bit of everything going on in the park (at 4:00 on a Wednesday).  There were geriatric dance aerobics, people doing tai chi, old men playing checkers, people playing badminton, and even a couple of guys boxing a sparring bag that they had hung from a tree. The people here really do seem to use their parks more for exercise and activities than we do back in the states.

After leaving the people's park, we found a little hole in the wall place to eat dinner; Dim Sum, noodles, and eggplant.

When we were leaving the restaurant waiting for the Uber to arrive, our guide told Apollo in Mandarin that he needed to stand still. A few minutes later, our guide started belly laughing. Apparently Apollo pointed to Magnus and said, "This little one doesn't listen very well".  Our little Apollo is ready to step into the role of big brother immediately.

Once returning to the hotel, we decided to get the boys cleaned and ready for bed, and then we would put them in the carriers and walk over to see the water display.  8:00 came and went with no fountains or lights. We were quite confused. There was a voice coming over the loud speakers, but it was of course in mandarin. I asked Apollo if he knew what they were saying, but he just responded to me with more Mandarin, so he was no help at all.  Oh well, we did get some good pics from Fun Street at night.
