We saw many animals and Apollo was so very excited with each and every one. I was surprised that he wanted to pet as many animals that he could get his hands on and didn't even flinch. This little boy has come such a long way in so little time and it's a privilege to watch!
Sadly, the lion and tiger exhibit was closed to his utter disappointment but no tears were shed. We had another day full of entertainment and smiles from ear to ear.
The award for favorite exhibit...feeding the parakeets...shocker! :) We spent so much time in the aviary to Apollo's pure delight.
And guess who went to the zoo today too?!
Bless Grammy for bringing them as I'm sure it was exhausting. I wish we were all at the same zoo together but we will be soon enough! Our last stop was the gorillas and they were all sound asleep.
We returned back to the house and relaxed for a couple hours until Apollo asked to go "bye-bye" again. It was dinnertime and the Red Sox were playing so we thought a burger outside the stadium was in order. Though we're the farthest things from Red Sox fans, we loved being in the middle of all the hype and excitement. I'm quite familiar with the area now and maneuvered our way around all of the buzz. We picked up some more groceries and popped into Marshalls. I had the most helpful assistant who insisted on holding some shirts and helped dress and undress me. That was quite the experience!
It's 9:30 and he's finishing up his bath now. We're going to have to make a huge adjustment to his schedule once we get home but for now, it's working perfectly. Tomorrow is our last day of freedom and we're going to make the most out of it!
